Report On Continuous Professional Development

Continuous Professional Development Programme was conducted in Army Public School, Ambala Cantt from May 28, 2022 to June 4, 2022 in MP Hall. All the teachers attended this CPD. Army Public School is self sufficient in terms of trained teachers who are performing their best to make the school a renowned institution in terms of its academics, co-curricular and sports performances . The school is headed by a great leader Dr Paramjit Singh , who is leaving no stone unturned to make APS Ambala, the best .
In view of the same , under Sir’s guidance ,CPD Programme has been planned and executed. CPD ensures the capabilities of the teacher to be at par and above with others in the same field and enhances the updating and development of the competences of the teaching staff, including acquisition of new skills according to the educational needs and of the educational curriculum. It also helps the teachers to step out of their routine and become a learner. Teachers learn from the experienced leaders and experts, which enhances their learning curve and leadership skills.
IMPORTANCE OF CPD : With it , teachers can , develop superior skills in organizing and time management, Find new teaching Strategies, Contribute to better student learning outcomes, Remain motivated and improve their learning curve, Set Smart Professional goals, Get knowledge and insight into their subjects , Equip their students for future.
Over-all it was a nice experience of going through this seven days learning process , which has empowered the teachers and will be useful in days to come. It was a nice gesture of authorities to felicitate teachers with certificate of undergoing this programme . We are looking forward for such more learning experiences in near future.
